A selection of photos that explore the realities of work and the life it provides in Bangladesh
The remote Ha Giang region of Vietnam is geographically and culturally distinct from the rest of the country. Life exists in isolation from the developments that have altered most of the nation in recent decades. A diversity of proudly represented cultures and ethnicities remains here in place where little has been affected by the passage of time and existence continues to depend on the cultivation of harsh, barren but beautiful landscape. This selection is part of an ongoing series that highlights the lives of people that depend on rock and thin air.
